English: Reconstructed image of 19th-century Indian poet and social reformer Bhima Bhoi using generative AI. Several poor-quality reference images were used to train and heavily process, layer and bring out photograph-like features, and the derivative images were further fed into generative AI editing workflow for photograph restoration to create the desired image. Major facial features such as eyes, lips, ears and hair were edited for a realistic photograph-like look.
